          KAUEHI  (CON'T)   CRAB RACES

The 1st Annual Cruiser's Hermit Derby

The first Annual Cruiser's Hermit Derby was a great success. The entry fee for the derby was an unwanted boat item... everyone's chance to get that little something you haven't used in a while off the boat.

But the rules had a twist. The Loser wins the booty. The winner gets the glory! We had several heats before the final race was held to determine the results.

June 11, 2004

After a wonderful time snorkelling and relaxing it was time to move along. We decided that we would leave our group and visit the second largest atoll in the Tuamotos, Fakarava as it was only about 6 hours sail away.
